Bridging the Gap Between Therapy and Life

My name is Glenn, and this is

why I do what I do.

The Navy Made Me Who I Am

I spent years serving in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician — the person responsible for keeping aircraft systems operational, precise, and mission-ready. It's demanding, technical work that requires focus, discipline, and an absolute refusal to cut corners. When lives depend on the equipment you maintain, there is no "good enough."

That mentality never left me. It's in the way I approach training, the way I build programs, and the standard I hold myself to as a coach. The Navy didn't just give me a career — it gave me a framework for life.

But service also came with a physical cost that most people never see.

The Problem I Had to Solve For Myself

While still serving, I was diagnosed with scoliosis and began dealing with arthritis — conditions that don't exactly mix well with the physical demands of military life. I watched some people in my position accept it. Slow down. Pull back. Treat it like a ceiling.

I refused to do that.

Instead, I started studying how the body actually moves — how muscle imbalances develop, how poor mechanics accelerate wear and tear, and how targeted corrective exercise can change the entire equation. I became my own first client. I tested, adjusted, and built a system that allowed me to not just manage my conditions, but train hard, stay strong, and keep pushing — even on the difficult days.

Corrective exercise didn't just fix my body. It changed my entire understanding of what's possible when you train with your body instead of against it.

There is a water bottle in front of the woman on the floor. Other people are exercising on mats in the background, and gym equipment such as a punching bag, a large speed bag, and a television on the wall are visible.

Why I Started Full Armor Fitness

Here's what I noticed while I was figuring all of this out: I wasn't the only one struggling.

I watched people around me — fellow service members, older adults, people fresh out of surgery — hitting the same walls I had hit. They were told to rest. Told to take it easy. Told that their best days were behind them. And the fitness industry wasn't helping — it was built for young, already-healthy people chasing aesthetics, not for real people dealing with real physical challenges.

That gap needed to be filled. So I filled it.

Full Armor Fitness was built specifically for people who have been overlooked by mainstream fitness. People with history — surgical history, injury history, age, pain. People who need a trainer who has actually been through something, not just someone who read about it in a textbook.

What I Bring To The Table

NASM Certified Personal Trainer
The gold standard in personal training certification — covering program design, biomechanics, nutrition, and client assessment.

NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist
Advanced training in identifying and correcting movement dysfunction, muscle imbalances, and postural issues that cause pain and limit performance.

10+ Years of Experience
A decade of working with real clients across diverse backgrounds — adults 55+, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and online coaching.

United States Navy Veteran
Years of service as an Aviation Electronics Technician taught me precision, accountability, and what it actually means to show up when it's hard.

Personal Experience With What You're Going Through
I don't just coach corrective exercise — I live it every single day managing scoliosis and arthritis. That's not a footnote. That's the foundation of everything I do.

My Coaching Philosophy

I believe every body is capable of more than it's been given credit for.

There's a space that most trainers never operate in — the distance between being discharged from physical therapy and actually getting back to full, confident, independent living. That gap is exactly where Full Armor Fitness lives. I don't build programs based on what worked for someone else. I assess where you are, understand what your body needs, and build a plan that moves you forward safely, progressively, and sustainably. Whether we're working together in person in Fort Worth or remotely through online coaching, the approach is the same — intentional, personalized, and built around your long-term wellbeing.

There are no shortcuts here. But there is a clear path forward. And I'll be with you every step of it.

Who I Work With

Adults 55 and Older
Strength, mobility, and independence don't have to decline with age. They can be built, maintained, and protected with the right approach.

Post-Surgical Recovery Clients
Knee replacement. Hip replacement. Shoulder repair. Spinal surgery. I specialize in helping you rebuild safely after surgery and get back to living your life fully.

Online Coaching Clients
You don't have to be in Fort Worth to train with me. I work with clients across the country through fully customized remote programming, nutrition coaching, and ongoing accountability.
